Digital IC Design Senior Engineer

Description and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a person to join a design team to execute a start-of-the-part IC design project in the wireless communication field. Candidate must be familiar with digital IC design flow with a proven record of design and verification of a complex design project that led to successful silicon. Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL is required.

Requirements:
Experience in the following areas of expertise is desired:
• Data-flow architectures
• OFDM-based Wireless LAN
• Smart antenna techniques
• Digital Signal Processing, such as FFT, filtering
• Error correcting coding and decoding
• Multimedia data processing
• Design and verification
• High-speed interface (LVDS, Serdes) integration
• Co-simulation/verification with wireless algorithm development

Experience in the following as well is beneficial but not required:
• FPGA design flow
• Communication systems and RF Circuits
• Experience with Matlab / Simulink
• Knowledge of media access control (MAC) for wireless or wired networks

Candidates must have M.S or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least three years of experience.
